Gaming graphics cards under 100 dollars

There is a lot of demand to get gaming graphics cards under 100 dollars. Good graphics cards which can also display the games in good resolution, do not cost several hundred euros for nothing. From 200 euros you get very good graphics cards, but it is better to invest 300-400. But that does not mean that there are not cheap graphics cards. However, it has to be considered that you have to make some big sacrifices in gaming. Securing the future, these graphics cards are not synonymous. They are therefore only suitable for those who gamble only occasionally and sometimes accept a lower resolution.

Although there are many gaming graphics cards under 100 euros, these are not all recommended. We looked at the most common models and compared them. We have attached the best graphics card in this price range, as well as some other recommendations, which are not bad either.

Zotac Geforce 9800 GT 512MB

In our opinion, there is only a single recommended graphics card under 100 €, which can also be used for gambling. The Zotac Geforce 9800 GT put in the test an acceptable speed, but scored above all with high image quality. Extensive features include a DVI-to-HDMI and a DVI-to-VGA adapter. The sound is played back via a built-in sound card.

Upgrading to dedicated graphics and memory on the Zotac GeForce GT 730 delivers unsurpassed high-definition graphics and performance. Hardware-accelerated Blu-ray 3D playback enables the Zotac GeForce GT 730 to playback high-definition stereoscopic video with compatible displays and playback software. Advanced Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD deliver high quality audiovisual playback. With NVIDIA surround technology with triple display support, the Zotac GeForce GT 730 offers unmatched gaming enjoyment and maximum productivity for a small price.

Another recommended graphics card under $ 100 is the Asus Phoenix GeForce PH-GT1030-O2G . Personally, we could not test it ourselves, but it was mentioned in several forums and magazines. Since it is not bad and costs less than 100 euros, it must also be mentioned here. The statements and experiences, however, we present you from a customer who has decided to buy.

Asus Phoenix GeForce PH-GT1030-O2G A customer’s experience

I built my PC in a Phantek Eclipse P400S with the goal of having an inaudible computer idle. I have been working with BeQuiet fans and without water cooling and have been satisfied for a very long time. The fans of the graphics card stay under 50 ° C easy, which of course fits great in my concept.

The performance is unreservedly recommended. I run a 2560 × 1440 75Hz monitor, which plays at all and no matter what details its always 75Hz. GTA V, Witcher, Forza Horizon (with i7 7700).

The fans themselves are also very good. Of course you hear them, but up to 90% it is more a pleasant noise than a disturbing noise. At speeds over 90%, the fans develop peculiar vibrations that produce a slight “whistling sound”. However, the cooling of the card is so good that the fans in my Airflow seldom turn more than 80%. With MSI Afterburner the card runs stable on 2Ghz computing power and the memory clock packs the 5.1Ghz without problems.

PNY Geforce 9800 GT PCIe 512MB

In the test we also noticed the performance of the PNY Geforce 9800 GT PCIe 512MB . Although this is somewhat weaker than that of Zotac, the picture quality is very high. Something negative is that it needs an additional power supply.

The graphics card you get for already from 50 euros. However, it has become a bit hard to get the card, at least if you want to have it as a new car.

Gaming graphics card under 100 dollars recommended?

In short, there is no good gaming graphics card under 100 euros. If you want to gamble, you also want a good graphics and that the game runs smoothly. This is not really possible with such a weak graphics card. Simple programs and streaming will be easily possible in most cases, as sophisticated video games (Battlefield) will generally not work properly. Write programs and other surface models of laptop or computer are not affected by this problem.

Our opinion is clear: who would like to gamble but currently can not spend more budget than 100 euros for a graphics card, which should rather save a little and later invest a bit more. It’s just not fun to play with such graphics cards and you’ll soon lose your sense of gaming. Good hardware costs a bit more, that should be clear to everyone.
